The self-lubricating bush act as a second bearing on the freehub and increase the load capacity of the freehub, as well as increasing the service life of the sealed bearing.
The bush will fit all Hubsmith 3/4 speed freehubs already in service.
A small amount of grease will help increase the life of the bush and smoothness. If the freehub bearing (size 6000) has developed play or became rough, it s advisable to replace it at the same time.
All Hubsmith 3/4 speed freehub boby/rear hub/wheelset we ship after Apr 2023 will be pre-equipped with this bush.
